1960s Cocktails

I was checking out when season four of Mad Men started on the AMC website and came across this-- a list of 1960s cocktails. I really want to try the pink squirrel martini!

A tangier take on the screwdriver, grapefruit, not orange juice, gives it the extra kick.

Don't be fooled by the playful cherry; this potent potable demands to be taken seriously.

This tasty cocktail was Norma Desmond's drink of choice. A wedge of lime sharpens it even more.

  • White Russian

A sweet and creamy drink so popular, it survived the anti-Soviet tensions of the Cold War.

But sadly I couldn't figure out when the new season starts. If anyone knows, please inform me!

  1. I love bloody marys. I went through a period where I'd drink like three a day. That's pretty decadent, I'd say. Also martinis with strong vermouth and a flavorful herbal gin. Gabriel drinks mint juleps alllllll summer. I'm not a very big fan of bourbon though.
