
I haven't been able to get to the beach yet this summer. I hadn't realized how much I'd been missing the shore until I found myself obsessively searching for bathing suits to buy, even though I have one I love and that I never even get to use. All I really want to do is swim in it.


These are swimsuits shot by Loomis Dean in 1950, but I don't remember who designed them. I wish more swimsuits were designed with the same idea of capturing the wind and getting protection from the sun.
However what I would really like is a nude one-piece swimsuit like this Emilio Pucci in the middle (even if the model looks kind of breast-less in this photo). Maybe nude is dumb color though, with all that sand around. A little too obvious, no?
